4 weeks of creative and active play during summer 2026, reaching over 900 children across Salford!

Funded through Salford Council’s Salford 100 centenary programme, the project explored how play has changed over 100 years and why it matters for children’s wellbeing, creativity and friendships today.

Led by Salford LCEP and Salford Community Leisure Active Communities, we brought play to housing estates, community halls and spaces where young people are, supporting the ambition for a Child Friendly Salford.
